Hi

I think something has changed in last couple versions and I am unable to run calibre in remote sessions (like X2go).

Please bear in mind that I ahd been using Calibre this way for couple years without issues

failed to get the current screen resources
QXcbConnection: XCB error: 172 (Unknown), sequence: 163, resource id: 180, major code: 149 (Unknown), minor code: 20
The X11 connection broke: I/O error (code 1)
XIO: fatal IO error 0 (Success) on X server ":50.0"
after 389 requests (389 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
