Grab the current YourClassical freebie, before the free selection changes tomorrow morning (I think that it is 10 a.m. Eastern Time).

It is from the Naxos album The Best of Faure. The free piece from the album is Pavane. It is a nice 7 minutes, 46 seconds in length. It is in the MP3 format.

The Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra performs it, with Keith Clark as the conductor.

Find out much more, here, about the album that the piece is taken from. If you're ready to download the piece, navigate to this webpage and look for the link that says "Direct MP3 download link" and click on it.

I'm looking forward to listening to this piece, maybe even more than of the other freebies, because I am unfamiliar with Gabriel Faure, the composer. I have been pleasantly surprised by the enjoyment that I got out of some of the previous pieces by "unknown" composers in these classical music giveaways.
