I've gotten them from an actual publisher that way a few times too. Can't remember who, but I think it was Samhain or Baen.

Not sure if it's intentional or if it's the way Calibre reads some unknown metadata field and places the info in its rating field erroneously as rating isn't an official metadata field (at least not for Dublin Core).
