Yeah, that's the route that I think that I'm going to go on the audiobook that I wanted. One library where I have borrowing privileges talks like they are willing to purchase the ebook. Then, I can check it out and buy the Whispersync narration, which in the case of the ebook in question is $3.99.

But, I would have preferred (still do prefer) to borrow this particular title and not buy it. Most of the time I would rather own the audiobook, not rent or borrow, but some titles I prefer to borrow, because I don't foresee ever wanting to listen to them again. Of course, it would be nice to save $4, too.
