I have used Calibre with early Kobo Wifi and Windows XP to Windows 10 and with various Linux distributions with no problems. (I only used Windows 10 for about 1 month.) Yes there has been a few show stopping bugs quickly fixed with new Kobo software versions which I avoided because I never received first release of Kobo's updated software. Timothy Legge and David Forrester are now listed as providing Kobo support in calibre continuing a vibrant open-source community tradition.
