It is still possible, I just tried it on my Glo. However since the last time I tried it they have added yet another popup that has to be dismissed before you can do anything. So this is the procedure I had to use:
1. Enter www.dropbox.com in the web browser.
2. Login
3. Tap the button at the bottom left to switch to desktop mode.
4. Dismiss the banner that says "Dropbox is not compatible with your browser"
5. Tap the "No Thanks" button on the popup nagging about upgrading my account.
6. Tap the filename of the file I want to download.
7. Tap the "Download" button at the top of the file list.
I wouldn't rely on being able to use Dropbox forever though, the website keeps changing and it is probably just a matter of time before they make a change that breaks downloading completely.
