I'm fine with 7.99 it's 12.99 or 14.99 that makes me leery. One of series I buy recently went self-pub. The cover is better than it was, but there was a tiny drop in writing -editing quality, which honestly might be because it's long running series. I would definitely have been disappointed if the series stopped.
