from Kindle DX to M92/96?
hello all,
I am a heavy scientific PDF ( two columns ) reader and I have been using almost successfully a Kindle DX for this purpose, but in the last year I have given up on it because of reliability and battery problems. I have used both Liberator and the other custom pdf reader, they work fine but they are unreliable especially when the device goes to sleep. The battery also needs to be changed so I do not want to invest too much in it.
I am looking into buying a used M92 or M96 and I am wondering if it would be an improvement over my DX, from the technical specifications does not look that much better so in terms of performance it seems a very small step.
Do these devices have some good built-in PDF reader that does automatic reflow of two column PDFs? Will they be more stable than my hacked DX? last reboot less screen freeze, etc.
Basically I am trying to evaluate if I should get a new battery for my DX or sell it and invest into a used Onyx.
Your comments are much appreciated. Thanks
