If I understand you correctly, you downloaded books from calibre into CC using the Content Server connection. Those books are in CC. So far so good. Again checking my understanding, now you want to see something in the calibre spreadsheet that indicates that the books are in CC's library.

If you connect CC to calibre as a wireless device then *while connected* calibre will show a check in the built-in OnDevice column. That check will go away when you disconnect. If you wish that calibre remember the information then you must do something while connected. Some options are:
  • Use the Reading List plugin to maintain a list of books on the device. See the plugin page for some instructions.
  • Add a tag to each book to indicate "on device". Search for ondevice:true, select all the books, then use bulk edit to add the tag.
  • Similar to a tag, use a custom Yes/No column.
  • Similar to a tag, use a "status" column that has ondevice and other information about the book such as whether you want to read it.
If I haven't understood correctly then tell me what I am missing.
