Mmmh, I un-ticked the 'kepub' item, so that the first tab looks exactly like the one in the KoboTouch 2.3.1 plugin in, but it still sends the book as a kepub (with KoboTouch 2.3.1 either enabled or disabled).
Ah, okay, I guess I can just use the KoboTouch 2.3.1 if all the extra options are about kepub conversion, I wasn't sure about what I'm missing by not using the plugin.
