I decided to wait for a 3rd party cover, too. I only use the KA1 in my bedroom, anyway. Still, I want some temporary protection while it's stored on the headboard shelf, so I pulled out the old inverted-potholder sleeve I'd used a while back for some other device. (Not much customization required, tho I have a layer of foam padding inside to keep it from being too loose).
