I have a KV... Jailbroke and installed KUAL and MrPi without problem. Now, however, whenever I throw an update*.bin in the root of the device, it's gone when I eject the Kindle to install it. I've tried installing via the usual method and MrPi and the .bin is never detected, then upon reconnecting to PC, I find it's been deleted.

Any ideas? Thought it was perhaps related to me blocking OTAs, but removed update.bin.tmp.partial and it's still happening.

Edit: Ok, MrPi won't install packages in root (which Kindle evidently deletes if not a valid update on newer firmware versions). Installing fine from /mrpackages.
