The cover of my Paperwhite 1 is now close to four years old. It only has some scuffs on the edges, and crinkles in the spine, but these are completely to be expected, after being used for four years, and stuffed into a work bag, day in, day out. That was a €12 cover from eBay, which looks about the same as a Gecko cover.

I'm sure I'll get such a cover for the KA1; either the Gecko one, or one from eBay. I'll probably try the Gecko one, as I can return it easily if I don't like it; and it costs about half of what the Kobo cover costs. To be honest, even while I don't care too much about the price if I like something, €50 for a cover is just over the top.

I bought an iPad Mini cover for the Aura One and ripped out the plastic shell which holds the Mini normally. The camera hole on the back is at the right height and I had to enlarge it just a tiny bit to get to the button of my Aura One. I mounted it with duct tape and am a happy camper now until Mulbess or someone else comes up with a cover I like.
I'm just using a cheap neoprene sleeve, and keeping the reader in the house as long as I don't have a hard book-style cover for it. It's not as if my KPW1 suddenly stopped working.
