Wow, I'm not the only one with that right-side gap, I guess! It concerned me when I first got it... could see little adhesive clumps, etc, as described. (I scraped a little bit out with something thin, but was too nervous to do too much of that.) I finally decided to not mess with reporting it, returning it, etc. etc. And I kind of forgot about it since then.

Now that others have reported this, I'm less concerned that I had a sole bad unit. In the manufacturing process, there must be a tendency to have more glue on that right side, or perhaps the right side is the last to be folded around the edge of the glass, and tends to have a little gap. Hopefully it won't get worse or cause unforeseen problems as time goes on!
