Yes. That's the problem. But now I see that it is not an issue with Calibre. If I put boundaries around a picture with Libre, and save it (as docx or odt), when I open it, the boundaries will have disappeared. That is true whether I run it through Calibre or not. So it appears that, at least using Libre, there is not way to get boundaries in without embedding them right in the image (like with Gimp.) Is that true?
