These holds were placed from a PC. I have an extensive Wish List w/my library account so activate holds from the list when the timing seems right. I also request items for purchase through my OD account, sometimes selecting check out immediately when available or notifying when the item becomes available from my library. I read lots of book prepub alerts/reviews of upcoming titles so this system works well for me.

Last week, when I first received my Kobo it didn't recognize a current item I had on hold. From the Kobo site on device it told me I had to place a hold when the item was already on hold for me, and the sync feature did nothing.

I don't know if there was an update or just a delay in linking my OD account with Kobo and my public library, one thing that stands out when I place a hold through my library account is that the email address default is now the one that is associated with my Kobo account. I work for the library, and have used my work email for library OD notifications.
