I hold it in a death grip! No, really, that's the problem. I tend to hold the Kobo around the bottom corner which causes the corner of the device to dig into my palm and puts my fingers in the SD card danger zone.

I'm coming off the Nook ST, which had rounder corners and had the SD card under a flap.

Yeah, I've learned that the SD card isn't the be all, end all some make it out to be. I only read ePubs on my reader, so three GB is plenty. But given the choice, I'd prefer having one to not.
