That's the general attitude around here also. In the past year, I've only seen one other person "in the wild" using an e-reading device. But I think they would be more accepting of your romances than they are of my scifis. Not only am I, apparently, wasting my time reading, but for crying out loud, I'm wasting it on space stories! I should be using my time more efficiently, for instance, by heightening my hair or applying more mascara.

I actully do have the Holy Bible on mine, so that would be a great question to serve as an opening to introduce e-reading to someone.
