Thanks Cesca & Dave, no problem with itunes recognizing my ipad3. I put same settings on calibre and itunes still it doesnt show up on calibre. i'm also all updated on calibre and itunes and read the treads to see if i am missing something.I have never seen my ipad3 in calibre by the way so its not something that suddenly happened on my imac.
