Best way to side load books and have them sync to Android Kindle

Hi All,

I recently picked up a Kindle PW2 device which is how I do most of my reading but there are times when I don't have the device with me and find some time to read a few pages. This is where my phone comes in, I would like to also be able to read and sync the same book(s) on Kindle for Android. Just wondering what the best way to do this is as I recently loaded a few books I had converted from epub to azw3. I sent them to the PW2 over USB and that all worked ok but I found they didn't get sent out to my other devices. I guess I wrongly assumed that once they were on the PW2 device they would get synced to my account and would eventually appear on my Android device but this doesn't seem to be the case unless I am missing something.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
