I agree that is possible as a workaround, though I regularly update all my books and it would be a pain to do that each time (plus I might well stuff that up too!).

I generally prefer to avoid workarounds, because I'd rather identify the problem and a proper way of resolving it - as has happened in this case! Which means I now have a much easier flowline again. If it had been a formatting issue in the docx I'd have probably nuked it (content to notepad then rebuild totally) - but again, would have a simpler flowline. I'm glad I didn't have to do that! Life's complicated enough, being able to simplify system processes whilst maintaining reasonable quality is always my goal.
