Hmm, I did the thing, but now it says in a popup some updates were not installed. Some security update with a long number after it. When I close that window, as its the only option its gone and no clue what now.
But since you said restart, i am going to do that and see if that gets it going.

well, after reboot, on that update page in settings now it says couldn't install some updates because the PC was turned off. Well duh.

This is why I don't do computer stuff. Clueless is me.

Doing the re-try on that update page on my computer, went to 45% and seems its going to be stuck again there. This did not work for me apparently. Only thing changed is that it says 45 instead of 48 now.
Went to the link in a post upthread and clicked there on the direct to 64 bit thingie and its doing something now at least. So maybe 2nd time is the charm.
