I wanted a Fire for easy text to speech, I bought the Fire 7 and was actually quite impressed but then found out personal documents don't download to the SD card so I could do with more internal storage, I bought the 16GB. Plus I would like a better screen.

I haven't had any issues with my Amazon account since last year so I'm not quite as paranoid anymore. I wouldn't have a Fire as my main android tablet but as an extension to my Voyage and a portial for Prime it's a nice choice, as long as I don't pay too much.
