Just switch to Nickel from the main menu and plug in the reader. Download the v4 firmware ZIP from a message in this forum and unpack it to the .kobo folder. On unplugging the USB Nickel will upgrade the firmware, and you will lose the access to the KSM. However, now you can simply install the KSM08 again, and it should work fine - it did for me. What won't be working is the Wireless from within the KSM.
