The nearby weather station recorded a high temperature of 102º (F) this afternoon. Most of the time it was "just" in the mid-90s. It was mostly cloudy, but bright, and breezy.
On the other hand, one of the dogwood trees has some leaves that are already yellow and orange, and there was a shower of ash leaves from a tree in the backyard during one of the stronger breezes. It's just a matter of time.
