My perfect e-reader is the Kindle 7th gen that I have. I love it a lot.
When I am next needing/wanting/able to buy a kindle I may go for the paperwhite. I hesitated to buy it when it first came out because I wanted to see how other people fared with it.
It (the PW models) now seems to have improved, and has me wishing I had bought the paperwhite instead, when I bought the Kindle 7th gen. But for daytime reading and on the go, it's perfect. At night I use my phone or tablet, so it's all good.
