Received another email requesting my name and address. Looks like they are going to send a replacement. Previous posts indicate shipments for orders placed directly with Kobo are coming from Canada now. Hope this means I'll have a new device soon.
Someone else indicated they also have a bright spot above center on the screen. I encourage folks to reach out to Kobo soon after receipt.
