Those names (probably a title) are generated by calibre because it fails to match the document (PDF) to anything in the calibre library. The way to fix it is to tell calibre which PDF in calibre's library is the correct match, which you do in calibre's device view by right clicking on a pdf and choosing the "match" option. If the document is not in calibre's library then the weird name stays, and the metadata will almost certainly not be correct.
