I was just stating my first impression, with both device next to each other. You may or may not have another opinion, this is what forums are for. After hours of reading, I can only reiterate that, IMO :
1. My One is not as crisp as my H2O. Not by much, but it is noticeable, at least BY ME, which is the most important, as I happen to be, oh surprise, the user of this particular unit (gosh, to think I even have to explain that,,,,)

Regarding point 1, I know I am not the only one, a reviewer wrote the same elsewhere, but I don't remember who and where as I saw that a week ago. Obviously, since I do have what is called a life, I won't spend hours looking for it. I just happen to have the same opinion.

Come on, tear my post to pieces....

I don't think anyone actually said, or implied, that intent behind your post. Rather one poster said it seemed odd to base buying a device off one poster while others who also have the H2O and the One have stated a differing opinion, some favoring the One over the H2O and others stating that they're equal.

Personally whenever I find a negative review of something I seek out reviews to the reverse. I then compare the reviewers for possible bias (this is more for professional reviewers than folks posting on this forum), and filter the reviews through those biases. Of course folks here can be biased, there are Amazon fanboys/girls, and Kobo fanboys/girls, and I will be very clear here and say I do not count you in either of those camps.

I snipped bits out of your post here because I either agree (highlighting for example), or don't find the drawbacks mentioned affect me (color splotches for example).
