With the H2O vs the One the One has the advantage in both camps, but perhaps not but such a margin that it's going to absolutely be breathtakeningly different.
I'm also in the One being sharper than the H2O camp. Even with the extra layer, the 300 DPI screen and the higher resolution make up for it. Perhaps if it was an IR screen we'd see an even bigger difference. However I have to say as someone who had previously only used IR screens, and had initially been turned off by the Ones capacitive touch screen, I have adjusted and really like having the flat surface. And not needing to worry about crumbs/dust getting in there is a load off my mind.

Yes, I dont miss those deeply recessed bezels at all. Just shove under the kitchen sink and rub on your shirt and youre good to go! :P The Aura (one, I mean, the one before this One, I mean, eek...) I know had some fans but man, there was some criss-cross pattern throughout the background? And scratches on the top layer? Was pretty shocking but im very glad this iteration works. The Voyage is also capacitive touch but has the most gorgeous screen of any ereader ive seen (im gushing, I know) and I havn't seen a screen like that since so im not sure where this IR vs Capacitive Touch and screen clarity business comes from... Considering buying a Voyage (again) and using it on Voyages and also using my One while i'm... at home.
