I even put both devices next to one another to compare and the difference is very obvious - especially when you display a curly font) but I did think a 35pixel density increase would be a little more noticeable. The Voyage screen wins in terms of sharpness - its text really 'popped' and kind of floated on the screen, it was amazing. Gradients are on both devices but the colour gradients on the A1 are much more excusable because of the customisation available to you. Eek, I really do love it. Such a fanboy!
Somewhere here there was a discussion about the H2O screen vs the Glo HD screen, and how despite the Glo HD being 300 DPI the H2O screen was still comparable, though less sharp. I think this was because of the resolution of the devices also being fairly different.

With the H2O vs the One the One has the advantage in both camps, but perhaps not but such a margin that it's going to absolutely be breathtakeningly different.

I'm also in the One being sharper than the H2O camp. Even with the extra layer, the 300 DPI screen and the higher resolution make up for it. Perhaps if it was an IR screen we'd see an even bigger difference. However I have to say as someone who had previously only used IR screens, and had initially been turned off by the Ones capacitive touch screen, I have adjusted and really like having the flat surface. And not needing to worry about crumbs/dust getting in there is a load off my mind.
