I think I'll order the Aura in the end. I've wanted the Kobo font customizations for years, but I saw no point in replacing a perfectly good KPW1 with another 6 inch reader. I also wanted a reader substantially larger than 6 inch, but NOT as big as 9.7 inch. The ONE fits perfectly, being 7.8 inch. Much bigger than 6 inch, not as big as 9.7, all font customizations... I'll have to try this reader.


I'm thinking about waiting to order it after some covers become available, but that could take weeks or months. Maybe I'll order the reader, and use it a home only, until a cover becomes available. Actually, I like the original cover, apart from the fact that they HAD to go and make the front cover floppy to give it a 'stand mode'... I don't like that. If they hadn't, I wouldn't even care that much about the price.

On the other hand, I'm now using a KPW1, which sits in a €12 cover I bought from eBay, and that is holding up perfectly well.
