Well I just got a Kindle 5.2.1 update on my iPhone. So Kindle is still alive and well in iOS land, like we already knew.

Strange how the Kindle app still isn't found in the App store, but I suspect, as I said earlier, it's absence is likely connected with the release of the iOS 10 and new devices.

As far the new iPhone, I'm good to go with what I have. I have the 6 Plus and a 5 for backup. I see no reason to upgrade when either does what I need and want. As long as one or both keep working, I see no reason to upgrade for at least 2 or 3 more years. If I want to take serious photos I will use my actual cameras and equipment, not a crappy smartphone camera. I'm 58 years old and I have never destroyed any electronics by getting it wet. And my phones are always locked up inside an Otterbox Defender case, so I couldn't care less what color it is. I always get a kick out of Apple and Samsucks and their ads for the latest greatest device. Most device upgrades are small, incremental, unimaginative ones. If the next one will do my dishes, then I might consider it.
