Mine is the same as your new one, too. Although there's a greenish tone at the bottom left that I don't know if I should be concerned about. I know that a perfect screen is impossible to find.

After a few hours of reading on it, my initial impressions are:
1. The screen size is perfect!
2. Library and Pocket integration is awesome.
3. Lighting is uneven.
4. Kindle Voyage screen looks lighter and sharper.
5. Also slower to response to touch.
I think I'm keeping this.
