There should be nothing wrong with FAT32 though. Well, other than if you actually fill that much with books, the Kobo database will grow gigantic and that'll probably cause slowdowns that are not filesystem related in any way...
I thought FAT32 wasn't optimized to run well above 4GB?

Thanks for the link! I was searching for your thread, but couldn't find it last evening. Ended up in this one Couldn't find a mkfs.ext4 binary without having to compile the package e2fsprogs on the kobo. How did you solve that?
