Hurricane/Tropical storm Hermine skirted past us a little further east over the Atlantic than predicted. It still poses coastal flooding threats but we were scheduled for strong winds and heavy rain -- instead, we got beautiful breezes, clear skies, bright sun, temperatures that topped out at 80° F, and very comfortable humidity levels.
Of course, it's still out there, temporarily stalled by some weather fronts, but unless we get some really drastic changes, we should be good for tomorrow as well.
After that it's supposed to get hot again.
