Just joined the forum and found this thread when searching for solutions to problems that have started with my reader. I have a Kobo Wifi N647B with a similar problem. Whilst I can see books that came with it and ones that were loaded on some time ago, anything I upload to it now does not show up as being available. They are there and can be seen and opened from Calibre and from Windows. Does anyone think it would be worth re-installing from an image?
The second problem is occurs when I use an SD card, uploaded abook onto a card to test if the reader would see it from there, it does and I can open it. But then it randomly informs me that I have removed the SD card when I haven't and the book disappears. Take the card out and replace, hey presto it's back until the reader decides otherwise. Have tried a couple of different cards, same result.
Any advice would be appreciated.
