The word "haptic" means "related to the sense of touch". The Voyage doesn't have physical page turn buttons; it has pressure sensors on the bezel which react to an increase in pressure by turning the page. The reason I prefer the sensors to physical buttons is that they react to changes in pressure rather to "absolute" pressure, so you can hold the Voyage as lightly or as firmly as you wish, and you won't get accidental page turns. You just press a little harder (and the sensitivity can be adjusted) to turn the page. I think they work really, really well. I far prefer them to the physical buttons I've used on other readers.
