Ah, thought that Kobo Utilities plugin was sort of "container" for a serie of plugins. Sorry.
I followed you instructions and it worked well. I did read the help instructions and I think they are fine. After configuring the columns etc, I instead thought that I had to follow the instructions in Change Reading Status in device library part. Percentage reading more sounds like "reading status" than "bookmarks".
Had to do more with my way of interpreting the English words than unclear instructions I think.
A BIG thank you, now I can rest asure and do a factory reset
