hm ! i don't read Clancy but i am going to be optimistically very encouraged by the last sentence of that quote :
"Executives Laura Porco of Amazon.com and Chris Smith of Sony Reader said Thursday that Clancy had been in great demand by customers."
maybe they are listening to what customers want after all (or they could just be stating that as a totally unrelated, coincidental bit of info of course
