It may be more readable than current amoled screens in sunlight, but I doubt it's anything like e-ink. In any case, most people like e-ink readers because they find them easier to read on for long periods than back lit or emissive displays. Sunlight readability is a bonus. Ditto power consumption, ie battery weight.

The better e-ink readers have 300DPI. Resolution isn't the problem. You can't even see e-ink pixels without magnification. E-ink's low refresh rate is the real limiter.
