Maybe. That depends on what the battery, hardware and software manufacturers all decided. If they decided on maximum runtime, then 100% and 0% will be at the extreme limits for the battery with little room for safety. Then to get the longest life from the battery, you need to manage the charge levels between 70% and 30%.

But, if they decided that overall battery life is the most important, then they will have set the 100% lower and the 0% higher. That gives longer overall life but shorter runtime. And that means if you manage the battery within the 70% to 30% range, you get even shorter runtime.

And that brings me back to my original statement: Forget about it and just use the battery as needed.
