Still not the point I was going for.

When I mentioned something like UltraViolet or Disney Movies Anywhere earlier the idea is that you could buy the book at any of a number of retailers and the book would be populated to your library at various retailers allowing your library to move with you if you decide on a different device.

Example. I buy Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Amazon. Even though I bought through Amazon the movie is also available on my iTunes, Google, Microsoft and Vudu accounts without me having to do anything (other than the initial linking of accounts) or pay anything additional.
