Huuaa. That comment about dutch sweets wen't over the hill there. I was referring to the licorice, but in the way that I love the dutch salty ones so much, that I always get 'tummy trouble' when in Holland. And:

So, I get exactly that. When I started eating, I thought I'd die right on the spot. I told my host: "I think this mayonaise is over the hill." She tasted it, and thought it was perfectly fine.

Since I am danish, I think you are referring to 'Remulade'. It is some sort of mayo, but with sliced cucumbers and cauliflower. Very tasty with fries.
When i want the kids happy, I make cutlet with fries, and 'remulade' mountains.
