This happens to me too. It seems does not loses the position, but goes to a previous position, normally one page ro so.

It happens when changing font or font size. Instead of been locked in the first letter of the current page, it goes back anda back on each font change.

BTW, the problems with the position happens always, and happens more if you switch off the screen with the program in foreground. If you give time to iOS to send back the app, when you return to it, reading position is in the precedent saved position or even at chapter start. This only happens in scroll mode.

Currently I'm went back to Kindle App, and I'm making eyes to Hyphen... 1.2 seems sync across devices not only position but all the library like Fiction Book Reader (in Windows) does. And Goodreads integration is another Hyphen feature I like a lot.
