Thanks Dr. Drib, I will now know that it is perfectly okay for a new user with 1 post to post promotional messages as long as they are pretty good.
Nothing wrong with that, just that most forums frown on this kind of behaviour, because it encourages hit and run tactics.
Users posting promotional messages in their first post usually do not not stick around.
