Just a couple of notes: This was previously published in e-book format by Baen Books, back in 2003, and at that time it was a single volume. The formatting of that version is really basic, so this version's formatting looks nicer. Given it's published by Arc Manor, it's not going to be winning any awards for the formatting, but they have put more effort into it than the previous Baen e-book did. For example, the forward for each story is a separate section, with a break before the story in Arc Manor's version. In the Baen version it runs straight into the story without even a divider to show the break.
Also, Arc Manor gave volume one of this away as their monthly freebie last October. So check, you may already have volume one, making this deal more appealing.
And I just have to include this quote from the forward to the whole thing, written in 1980. It's quite amusing in the context of an e-book:
Each copy is guaranteed—or double your money back—to be printed on genuine paper of enough pages to hold the covers apart.
