Return to Step #7 - - download another copy of the customer firmware version of your choice (make a note of the server and version link you used for your next post).
The re-download is on the off chance that you have a corrupted file from your first two tries (and if your using Safari you probably do).
Amazon does not provide validation files, so all you can do is try to install it again.
Just put it in the topmost level of visible USB storage, safely remove (or whatever MacOSx calls it), un-plug cable, use the UYK menu selection.
