The perfect eReader for me really does depend on where I am at.

I prefer the larger screen for in home reading, so I use an iPad Pro for that. I like being able to read without reading glasses.

I prefer a medium sized screen for reading on the go, i.e. at lunch. I use an iPad Mini for that.

I have an eInk reader (Sony T3, but just bought a Kindle paperwhite) for camping and backpacking. I like the very long battery life, small size and light weight.

Since the iPad screen doesn't fatigue my eyes, I prefer the active color screen to the eInk screen. For some reason, I find that I like to read with a light blue background and white letters.

Of course, in an ideal world, a eReader that only had to be charged once a month, was full color and was resizable. Might be a while before that sort of eReader becomes available. Oh yea, it has to be able to hold all my ebooks and have good book management.
