Maybe. But, the point was that some of the ereaders have actually been designed so they are easy to hold. If the ereader is designed properly, creating a cover that improves on the bare device is hard. In the case of the Touch, none of the covers I've used on any of my devices would improve on he bare device.

And don't forget, for anyone with small hands, weak hands or any other sort of grip problems, a cover is adding bulk and weight. This might make it harder for them to hold the device and that might outweigh any protection that the cover supplies.
